Pottery wheel and pottery painting combo:
After all members of the team arrive at the studio, we will begin with basic intro and wheel demonstration . You will learn the steps of throwing a cylinder/bowl on the potter's wheel, before trying it out yourself with one one-pound ball of clay. It is an hour 30min activity. A group of 10 will take the wheel while the other members of the team do pottery painting. As soon as the folks on the wheel are done next 10 will take the wheel.
Fyi: long nails may pose difficulty in throwing a pot on potters wheel. Please bring a hair tie for long hair. Rest every thing will be provided at the studio.
Pottery painting, each member will be given a 7 inch plate to paint with pigment colors. This activity will go in parallel with potters wheel activity.
You get to keep your new works of art after we dry, trim, bisque fire, glaze and glaze fire the piece.. Team gets to pick one color. We will notify you when your master piece is ready for pick-up .
Fee of $75 per person for potters wheel and $25 for pottery painting plus tax includes use of studio equipment and all raw materials for completion of the project.
