Pottery wheel experience. No prior experience needed.
Fee of $75 per person includes use of studio equipment and all raw materials for completion of the project.
It is a 1 hour 30min activity. We will begin with basic intro and wheel demonstration . You will learn the steps of throwing a cylinder on the potter's wheel, before trying it out yourself with one one-pound ball of clay.
You get to keep your new works of art after we dry, trim, bisque fire, glaze and glaze fire the piece.. Team gets to pick one color. We will notify you when your master piece is ready for pick-up .
Fyi: long nails may pose difficulty in throwing a pot on potters wheel. Please bring a hair tie for long hair. Rest every thing will be provided at the studio.
Pottery painting, folks get to choose one item per person from the shelf to paint, items start at $35 plus tax. There is a $10 discount per item if the team opts for both pottery wheel exp and pottery painting combo . Please add about 40 min to an hour for pottery painting.
